Is Hedging Allowed?

Updated 31 August 2026

No. Hedging is strictly prohibited across all Taurus accounts

Hedging includes:

Opening long and short positions in the same market simultaneously.

Opening opposite positions across correlated instruments, such as ES and NQ.

Hedging across multiple accounts, even when the positions involve different instruments.

If the system detects a hedging trade:

Any profit generated by the trade will be canceled and will not be added to the account balance.

Any loss generated by the trade will remain and will be applied to the account balance.

A red warning triangle will appear in the trade history, indicating that the trade violated the hedging rule.

The account will remain active, and no additional penalties will be applied. This violation alone will not cause a payout request to be denied, and the account may continue progressing toward payout eligibility.
