Payout

What happens when a trader requests a payout ?

Updated 28 September 2026

When a trader submits a payout request, the account is temporarily frozen while the request is reviewed. During this process, the trader will be unable to place trades, and the account status will appear as Read Only.

After the payout request is submitted, Taurus has up to 48 hours to review and either approve or deny it. The trader will receive an email with the decision or with any questions the team may have about the request.

If the payout request is approved, the following steps will take place:

The approved payout amount will be deducted from the account balance.

The Finance Team will contact the trader directly to coordinate the preferred payout method.

Payout Processing Times

Once the request has been approved, Taurus has up to an additional 48 hours to initiate the payout.

After the trader receives the funds through their chosen payment method, the Finance Team will reactivate the account at the opening of the Asian market, 48 hours later. The account status will then change from Read Only to Active, allowing the trader to resume trading.
